Services at Whiting Street URC have resumed on Sundays at 10.45am. Safe seating will be limited and face coverings should be worn throughout the service which will last for 30 – 45 minutes. Everyone who wishes to experience our services, for whatever reason, is welcome.
Unfortunately we will not be able to meet after the service indoors nor serve coffee/tea after church until further notice. The forecourt, however, is large enough for small groups to talk at a safe distance. We meet at 10.45am each Sunday for 30 – 45 minutes. We are without a minister for the foreseeable future but Sunday services are led by a wonderful variety of visiting preachers or our own lay preachers. At the moment, because of COVID restrictions services cannot include communion.
The Sunday service at 10.45am on 4th July will be led by Gwynneth Tilley, one of our experienced lay-preachers.
The Sunday service at 10.45am on 11th July will be led by Dr. Richard Jurd from Colchester.
The Sunday service at 10.45am on 18th July will be led by Margaret Beatty, one of our experienced lay-preachers.
The Sunday service at 10.45 on 25th July will be Gillian Johnson.
The Sunday service at 10.45am on 1st August will be Martin Tilley, one of our experienced lay-preachers.
